So what did we think ?
The latest Kong Booster Seat boasts a significant upgrade with a robust ISOFIX attachment system.
Unlike many competitors that rely on flimsy tethers wrapped around car seats, this model utilises your car's ISOFIX points – the same secure anchors used for child car seats – to provide exceptional stability.
There's an additional headrest strap providing extra support and you'll be glad to know that all the straps are fully adjustable so you can get the right fit for your car.
We found in testing that this multi-point attachment system not only improves stability but also creates a smoother ride, which is particularly beneficial for anxious or car-sick dogs.
But it doesn't end there ! Once the seat is in place, you'll notice it's designed with an integral harness tether.
This unique tether connects directly to your dog's harness, offering superior protection during sudden stops and maneuvers.
The integral tether does allows for movement with a carabiner attachment. You can adjust the carabiner strap slightly to take account of the size of your dog and we love that it swivels freely so your dog won't become entangled if they move around in their booster seat.

In terms of dimensions, it measures 43 cm wide so fits comfortably on a single rear seat leaving plenty of room for 'human' passengers, 32cm deep and the sides are 23 high.

We think that this bucket style seat, creates a comfortable space where your dog can watch the world go by or simply curl up in the bottom and nap.

We strongly recommend a properly crash tested harness for your dog whilst riding in a car.
This harness from Car Safe is fully certified crash tested. In testing we found it incredibly easy to fit with two side release clips and then it simply connects to your car seat belt.
From the fitting, straps, breathable mesh to the stitching, the design and materials are top quality.
The chest plate is extra padded for comfort and the straps are wide so don't dig in. The harness also has a D ring on the front and back, so you can connect your lead and head off for a walk when you reach your destination.
